Mother nature has been generous to us and provided renewable energy resources in abundance, some of which we have not touched or even do not know about yet. It is up to us to tap into these renewable energy resources, integrate them within holistic functioning systems and transition toward more clean energy resources.

In this section of inventions, we consider some promising options to allow you to have a more concrete visualization of the possibilities with, for example, geothermal energy along with heat pumps, biomass energy, thermal energy storage and indoor climate control.

The RÈPIN geothermal heat pump has been designed & developed by holistic engineer, renewable energy & indoor climate specialist, inventor & entrepreneur, Erney Errol Pinas, with two unit types for space climatization. One type has a free cooling heat exchanger, and the other type does not. Geothermal heat pumps are designed for colder climates and are based on the following based natural principles.


The temperature of the ground water in colder climates normally runs anywhere between 8 °C and 12 °C, so on average about 10 °C. All geothermal heat pumps require an energy extraction element.

The following four options are available to extract energy from the ground or surface water to be used by the heat pump:

  • An open or closed well system

  • A horizontal ground loop (slinky coil or straight loop)

  • A surface water loop (or HDPE bundles)

  • A ground heat exchanger

The water in each one of these energy extraction elements is cooled down to about the same ground water temperature of ±10 °C on average. This 10 °C cold water is pumped from the energy extraction element to the geothermal heat pump. The heat pump then takes only about 4 – 5 °C from the 10 °C cold water and elevates the temperature to anywhere from 20 – 60 °C through the refrigeration compression process in the heat pump. This elevated heat energy is then in turn transferred to the home or building for sanitary hot water or space heating.

The geothermal system works the same in the winter and summer months for the purpose of sanitary water. During the summer months when space cooling is needed instead of space heating, the same10 °C cold water in the energy extraction element is now pumped to the free-cooling heat exchanger in the heat pump, which is an optional additional unit within the heat pump. The free-cooling heat exchanger then extracts the cold energy and transmits it to the cooling system of the home or building.


The above mentioned RÈPIN heat pump has been integrated in the two following patented geothermal renewable energy inventions to maximize the efficiency of the renewable energy systems as well as minimize space allocation through custom-developed multiple functionalities of the inventions.


The patented ABC Energy stack heat pump is an integrated system that enables space heating, space cooling and sanitary hot water production.

The goal of this invention is to increase energy efficiency, cut Carbon Dioxide emission and minimize the carbon blue print of each home and the community at large. This goal is achieved by integrating the functionality of the heating furnace, the air-conditioning and water boiler into one high efficiency appliance.

A prototype and some market ready products have been built.


The ALLCONDITIONER is an invention that integrates at least 4 functions within one unit. This high efficiency unit can replace your oil or gas furnace, air-conditioning, hot water boiler and refrigerator all at the same time and result in a significantly reduced carbon footprint.

Main functions of the ALLCONDITIONER:

  • Space heating
  • Space cooling
  • Sanitary hot water production
  • Refrigeration

Another purpose of the ALLCONDITIONER unit is to reduce the space requirement in houses worldwide. Instead of 4 equipment-appliances, you only have one unit with one utility connection instead of 4 utility connections to each unit.

The ALLCONDITIONER uses the waste heat from the refrigeration or air-conditioning process for sanitary hot water production and space heating.

We built and successfully tested a prototype of this invention.

thermal energy storage & indoor climate control INVENTIONS


Worldwide you have countries and locations where there is at least 15 °F to 20 °F temperature difference between the daytime temperature and nighttime temperature. This difference in temperature is excellent for free energy harvesting in semi tropical areas and in the spring, autumn and in the summer, depending on your geographical location.

Although this type of space climate control with phase change material (PCM) is not yet mainstream, it has great potential.

We have done some successful PCM indoor climate control projects in the last decade, where PCM was used as a thermal battery. This displacement PCM grill is uniquely qualified to help further reduce our carbon footprint.



The Biomass burner is an invention for reclaiming energy from waste organic materials such as saw dust, straw, grass, nutshell, rice husk to produce thermal energy for processes, space heating and space cooling with the absorption process.

This invention was made to solve the waste problem of rice husk in tropical areas, where rice husk is burned in the open air. The invention represents the idea of a circular economy where waste is input for another process that creates additional energy and income streams.

A 1,000 kw prototype has been successfully built and tested. This burner can replace several of the oil and gas burners in the market right now.

We developed plans to scale up the capacity to thousands of kilowatts, which makes this biomass burner suitable for large capacity medium- and high-pressure water boiler systems for steam and electricity production.
